Paul Partyka Calls Out Suzanne Kosmas on Her Failure to Support Healthcare Reform for Americans
WINTER SPRINGS, FLA., March 19, 2010 --- Former Winter Springs Mayor and Democratic candidate for Florida's District 24 Congressional seat, Paul Partyka, is calling out the District's incumbent for her continued failure to support healthcare reform for all Americans.
"This is a critical issue and an historic opportunity to take a leadership role on healthcare reform," said Partyka. "We need our leaders to cross the aisles and work together to move healthcare reform forward - the alternative is unacceptable."
As the healthcare reform debate heats up and President Obama has called for a vote on this major issue as soon as this weekend, many Democratic Congressional leaders - including the District 24 incumbent - have decided to be "undecided." Without their support, millions of Americans will likely be unable to obtain the healthcare they need.
"This should not be about party lines," said Partyka. "It is simply the right thing to do to make a clear and easy vote to provide one of the most basic rights - access to healthcare - to countless uninsured Americans."
