Democratic Candidate for U.S. Congress Paul Partyka Criticizes Incumbent's Record on Space Coast Jobs
WINTER SPRINGS, FLA., May 19 2010 --- Paul Partyka, candidate for the Democratic nomination to the House of Representatives in District 24, criticized incumbent Suzanne Kosmas for her poor record on Space Coast jobs.
"The incumbent was a state representative for the Space Coast area for years before she ran for Congress and what did she do about Space Coast jobs? As a member of Congress she hasn't done much except talk about it." Partyka said.
"We have known for years that the Space Shuttle program would come to a close, we should have been prepared for it. This was predictable," Partyka said.
Partyka said his own record on job creation is much stronger.
The former two-term Mayor of Winter Springs recently helped convince Fortune 500 company Synopsis, Inc., to relocate to Seminole County with 25 high-tech jobs.
"I go to meetings, I'm talking to voters and working on the problems in our District," Partyka said. "This is what a Representative does. Issuing proclamations from Washington D.C. doesn't help voters in the District," he said.
